What is Kindlume Plus?

Kindlume is and always will be an app you can use fully and without restrictions on its core features, completely free of charge. The free version is designed for a small, personal circle of people – exactly what most of us need in everyday life: your closest friends, your family, the people who are truly near to you. Kindlume Plus is an optional upgrade for anyone who wants to cast a wider net. If you'd like to keep track of colleagues, neighbours or long-standing acquaintances alongside your closest contacts, Plus opens up that space.

With Kindlume Plus you can create unlimited people profiles, make and restore password-protected backups, and store additional reminders and important dates per person. It isn't a separate app or a new subscription with a third-party service – Kindlume Plus can be activated directly within the existing app and seamlessly extends the feature set. You can decide at any time whether the extended features make sense for you, or whether the free version already gives you everything you need.

Apple Subscription Management

The subscription for Kindlume Plus is handled entirely through Apple. That means you sign up using your Apple ID, just like any other App Store subscription. The management, billing and cancellation all go through the systems you already know from Apple – transparently and directly on your iPhone. There is no separate Kindlume account, no additional registrations and no third-party payment providers.

We have deliberately chosen not to offer a lifetime deal for the first launch. There are no artificial discounts, no countdown timers and no pressure tactics. Kindlume Plus uses a simple model: use Free, choose monthly Plus, or choose yearly Plus. Planned pricing. The final price will be shown in the App Store.

Restore Purchases

If you get a new iPhone or install Kindlume on another device, you can restore your Plus purchases directly within the app. Simply tap "Restore Purchases" in Kindlume's settings, and Apple will automatically check whether there's an active subscription linked to your Apple ID. You don't need to register again or start a new subscription – everything runs through the Apple ID you originally used for the purchase.

If the restore doesn't work right away, it's usually because you're signed in with a different Apple ID than the one used for the original purchase. In that case, check your Apple ID settings and try again. If you're still having trouble, you can reach us through our Support page – we'll be happy to help you restore your Plus subscription.

Cancellation

You cancel your Kindlume Plus subscription through your Apple ID settings on your iPhone, just like any other App Store subscription. Open Settings, tap your name, go to "Subscriptions" and select Kindlume Plus. From there you can cancel with a single tap. There are no lock-in effects, no hidden deadlines and no customer service you have to convince. You cancel whenever you want, and that's that.

After cancellation, your Plus access remains active until the end of the current billing period. You don't lose access immediately – you can continue using the extended features until the renewal date. After that, Kindlume automatically switches back to the free version. All your data is preserved – your people profiles, notes and important dates are not deleted. You can always start a new Plus subscription later if you'd like to use the extended features again.
