Kindlume is a personal organisation and reminder tool that helps you stay mindful of the people who matter. What Kindlume is
Kindlume is a private, local-only iPhone app that lets you create notes about people, maintain a personal timeline, remember important dates, and set gentle reminders. All data stays on your device. There is no cloud, no account, no tracking, and no messenger functionality. Kindlume is designed to help you think about the people who matter — the actual connection happens outside the app, on your own terms.
What Kindlume is not
Kindlume is not a messenger, not a CRM, not a social network, and not a medical, psychological, legal, or financial advisory tool. It does not send messages, does not connect you with other users, and does not provide professional advice of any kind. If you have health, psychological, legal, or financial questions, please consult qualified professionals.
Data responsibility
Since all data in Kindlume is stored exclusively on your iPhone, you bear full responsibility for creating backups and protecting your data. If your device is lost, damaged, or the app is deleted without a backup, your data cannot be recovered — Kindlume operates no servers that could hold a copy. We strongly recommend creating regular password-protected backups and storing them safely.
Kindlume Plus and Apple StoreKit
Kindlume offers extended features under the name Kindlume Plus, available as a recurring subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit). The purchase, billing, and cancellation are managed entirely by Apple. Kindlume does not receive your payment data. There is no lifetime offer. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings, and your data remains intact after cancellation — only the extended features are affected.
Backup passwords
Backup passwords are not stored in the app and cannot be recovered. If you forget your backup password, there is no way to decrypt or restore that backup. This is a deliberate security measure: no one — including us — can access your encrypted data without the password.
